A Lakota School District Levy Increase measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the Lakota school district area which is in Butler County. It was defeated.

This measure was approved

  • NO 21,272 (53.45%) Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought approval of a 7.9 mill levy to be in place for a further ten years in order to help pay operational costs of the district. School officials already noted what programs and services would have been cut if this measure had not passed. It was estimated that around $21.75 million would be raised annually since this measure was approved.[2]
