March 6, 2012 ballot in the Lancaster school district area which is in Fairfield County.
The measure was approved
- YES:5,273 (50.19%)
- NO: 5,233 (49.81%)[1]
The first part of the measure sought to issue a bond in the amount of $61.5 million in order to make renovations and pay for construction projects in the district.
The second part of the measure sought to add to the current school levy by a rate of .5 mills for a continuing period of time in order to further pay for permanent improvement costs in the district.[2]
