Larry Dixon is a former Republican member of the Alabama State Senate, representing the District 25 from 1982 to 2010. Previously, he was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 1978 to 1982 and the Montgomery City Council from 1975 to 1978.

Dixon earned his B.S. and his M.A. in History from Washington State University.
