Contents |
Springer was Mayor of the City of Kirkland from 2000 to 2003. He also served as Council Member for the Kirkland City Council from 1994 to 2004. He is a former Majority Assistant Whip and Majority Floor Leader.
He has been the owner of The Grape Choice since 1982. Springer was a teacher for the Auburn School District from 1969 to 1974. He then worked as Administrative Director for King County Youth Services from 1977 to 1980. From 1984 to 1986, he was owner of The Feed Store Restaurant.
Springer earned a MS in Family Counseling from the University of Oregon in 1974. Springer earned his BA in Education from Western Washington State College in 1969. [1]

Larry Springer was re-elected to the Washington State House of Representatives District 45b. He ran unopposed in the August 17, 2010 primary. In the November 2, 2010 general election he defeated Republican Mark Isaacs.[5]
