Teague was Alderman of the City of Nashville from 1989 to 1994. He served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1996 to 2002. In 2003 he was Assistant to President Pro Tempore Jim Hill.
Teague attended both Texarkana Community College and the University of Arkansas.
He has worked as Assistant Manager for Skaggs Alpha Beta. He has been Owner/Manager/Employee for Teague and Teague Insurance Family since 1985.
