Larry Teague has been a Democratic member of the Arkansas Senate since 2008. He represents the 20th district.
Education
Teague attended both Texarkana Community College and the University of Arkansas.
Professional experience
Teague has worked as Assistant Manager for Skaggs Alpha Beta. He has been Owner/Manager/Employee for Teague and Teague Insurance Family since 1985.
Political experience
Teague was Alderman of the City of Nashville from 1989 to 1994. He served in the Arkansas State House of Representatives from 1996 to 2002. In 2003 he was Assistant to President Pro Tempore Jim Hill. He then joined the Arkansas State Senate in 2008. He has served in that position since, representing the 20th district.
