Biography
"Laura became a professional artist at the age of 16. She was an Artist-In-Residence at Self-Help Graphics, an East Los Angeles art institution, and worked in non-profit arts education, teaching K -12 students through workshops. In 2006 she founded Chicano Art Magazine where she served as Publisher & Editor-In-Chief gaining valuable experience as a small business owner."[1]
