A Laurelville Village Current Levy Replacement measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the village of Laurelville which is in Hocking County.

These measures sought to replace the current expenses levy with one set at a rate of $.50 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for current expenses in the village.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

A replacement tax for the benefit of the Village of Laurelville for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding five (5.0) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to fifty cents ($0.50) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.
