Born May 29, 1944 in Waverly, Minnesota, LeRoy Stumpf is a Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party member of the Minnesota Senate. Stumpf was first elected to the Senate in 1982 and was re-elected in November of 2006 with his term expiring in 2010. Before becoming a Senator, Stumpf served one term in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1980 to 1982.

Education

LeRoy Stumpf earned his Bachelors degree from Saint Paul Seminary in 1966 and his MPA from Syracuse University in 1991.
