Perry won re-election in the 2012 election for Utah House of Representatives District 29 due to redistricting. Perry defeated District 6 incumbent Brad J Galvez in the June 26 Republican primary and defeated Heidi Bitton (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]
