Lee Myxter was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 46 of the North Dakota House of Representatives. He represented District 27 of the North Dakota House of Representatives from 2006 to 2010.
Myxter's professional experience includes teaching in the Fargo Public Schools. He earned is BS in Speech/Theater from Minot State University and his MS in Speech/Theater from North Dakota State University. Myxter and his wife, Sue, have five children; Lorel, Lyrae, Lance, Peter, and Erik.[1]
Elections
2012
Myxter ran in the 2012 election for North Dakota House District 46. Myxter and Diane R. Hill ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 12. He was defeated by incumbents Kathy Hawken and Jim Kasper in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
2010
Myxter did not seek re-election in 2010 to the House of Representatives. Instead, he ran for election to the State Senate for District 27. He was defeated by Spencer Berry (R) in the general election on November 2.[3]
2006
On November 7, 2006, Myxter won election by finishing 1st out of 4 candidates for District 27 of the North Dakota House of Representatives.[4]
