Liane "Buffie" McFadyen was a 2014 Democratic candidate who briefly sough election to the U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of Colorado.[1] She announced her withdrawal from the race via a Facebook post on March 16, 2014.[2]

McFadyen was previously a Democratic member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing the 47th District from 2003 to 2011.

McFadyen was ineligible to run for re-election to the 47th District seat due to the term limits of the Colorado House of Representatives.

2008

On November 4, 2008, McFadyen won re-election to the 47th District seat in the Colorado House of Representatives, defeating opponent Troy Sammons (R).[3]
