Biography
Fleming was a Spartanburg City Council Member from 1994 to 2004 and an Appalachian Council of Governments Board member from 1996 to present.[1]

Fleming was first elected to the commission in 2004 and was re-elected in 2010. Fleming served as the chairman from 2008 to 2010. Her current term expires in 2014.[1]
