Randi Becker (b. August 20, 1945) is a Washington state senator, currently serving the 12th district.[1] She is serving her third term and is a member of the Republican Party.
Education
Parlette earned her BS in Pharmacy from Washington State University in 1968.
Professional experience
Parlette has worked as an orchardist for Hoverhawk, Incorporated. She has also worked as a pharmacist for Aston Drug Center from 1970 to 1991. From 1987 to 2008 she worked as a pharmacist for Wenatchee Clinic Pharmacy from 1987 to 2008.
Political experience
Parlette's political experience began with her work as board member and director of the Lake Chelan School Board from 1981 to 1986. She was a campaign chair for Senator George Sellars in 1992. She served the Washington State House of Representatives from 1997 to 2000. Parlette has served in multiple positions in the Washington State Senate since 2001. In 2003 she was the Majority Deputy Floor Leader. She went on to be the Deputy Majority Leader in 2004. From 2005 to 2006 she was the Deputy Republican Leader. She has been the Republican Caucus Chair since 2006.
