Linda Menard is a former Republican member of the Alaska State Senate, representing District G from 2009 to 2013.

Menard was a member of the Mat-Su Borough School Board from 1996-2007.


Menard earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Alaska in 1975.

Menard was born in Cheboygan, Michigan. She is widowed and has four children. One of her children, Steve Menard, served on the city council of Wasilla, Alaska, before being recalled by voters in February 2012.[6]
