Two Little Miami Levy and Income Tax Addition measures were on the May 4 ballot in the Little Miami school district which is in Warren County.

Both measures were defeated
Levy Addition:

  • YES 4,300 (42.89%)
  • NO 5,725 (57.11%)Defeatedd

Income Tax:

  • YES 4,569 (45.13%)
  • NO 5,555 (54.87%) Defeatedd[1]

This was the fifth time the school district had tried to get funding to help support the schools, the previous election in February also saw a tax increase measure rejected. The income tax measure would have added 1 percent to local resident's income taxes, the levy addition would have added 6.5 mil to the local property taxes. The state will take over the district now that it is unable to pay for itself.[2] The school district will attempt another passage in November.[3]
