Lodi Exceed Revenue Limits (2008)

The Lodi Exceed Revenue Limits referendum was a school bond issue on the November 4 ballot in the Lodi school district, which is in Columbia County. It's purpose was to exceed revenue limits set by the state by $875,000 in 2010, 2011 and 2012 (totaling $2,625,000 overall) for the district. The additional funds will be used to upgrade and improve existing staff and equipment.

Text of measure

Be it resolved by the School Board of the School District of Lodi, Columbia and Dane Counties, Wisconsin, that the school district budget for the 2009-2010, 2010-2011, and the 2011-2012 school years, shall include, on a non-recurring basis, an amount of $875,000 in excess of the revenue limits imposed by section 121.91(2m) of the Wisconsin Statutes for the purposes of maintaining and improving instructional programs and staff, replacing technology software and equipment, updating facility equipment and maintaining the current School District facilities.

Result

Approved by 2,489 to 2,291.
