A London City Current Levy Replacement measure was on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the city of London which is in Madison County.

This measure sought to replace the current levy with one set at a rate of $.21 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for current expenses in the city.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

A replacement of a tax for the benefit of the City of London for the purpose of CURRENT EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding two and one-tenth (2.1) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twenty-one cents ($0.21) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.
