After the 2011 elections, Weinberg was elected as State Senate Majority Leader on November 10, 2011.[2]
Weinberg served in the New Jersey General Assembly from 1992 to 2005. She was Majority Conference Leader for the chamber from 2002 to 2005.[3]
Biography
Weinberg graduated with a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of California in 1956.[4] She later received her Masters of Public Administration from Farleigh Dickinson University.[5] Weinberg was the Co-owner/Vice President of Fineline Store Equipment from 1964 to 1995.

Weinberg won re-election to the District 37 State Senate seat in 2011. She faced no opposition for the June 7 Democratic primary election. Weinberg defeated Robert Lebovics (R) in the general election which took place on November 8, 2011. [6]
