A Los Rios Community College bond election, also known as Measure M, appeared on the November 4, 2008 ballot in Sacramento County, California, for voters in the Los Rios community college district.
The Los Rios community college district touches parts of five counties, so the ballot question also appeared on some ballots in El Dorado, Placer, Solano and Yolo counties.
To pass, it needed the supermajority approval of 55% of those voting in the election.
Measure M was approved with 57.9% of voters in favor.
It calls for a $475 million bond.
Election results
As a special tax, Measure W needed at least a 2/3rds vote in order to be approved.
