Lowell Hightower was a 2012 Democratic candidate seeking election to the Arkansas House of Representatives, District 26.

Hightower received both his BA and MSE from Arkansas State University. He went on to receive his Ed.D. from the University of Arkansas. Hightower is a retired educator and formerly served in the military.

Hightower ran in the 2012 election for Arkansas House of Representatives, District 26. Hightower was defeated by David Kizzia in the May 22 Democratic primary.[1][2]

Personal

Hightower and his wife, Betty, have six children and eight grandchildren.
