Lyen Crews was a 2013 Republican candidate for District 56 of the Kentucky House of Representatives.

Crews previously ran for District 56 of the Kentucky House of Representatives in the November 2, 2010, state legislative elections.[1]

Crews ran in the special election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 56. The seat was vacant following Carl Rollins, II's (D) resignation to take a job with the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority. Crews was defeated by James L. Kay II (D) in the special election, which took place on June 25.[2][3][1][4][5][6]

Crews' opponent in the November 2 general election was Democratic incumbent Carl Rollins, II. According to official results, Rollins defeated Crews by a margin of 8,590 to 7,846.[7] Crews ran unopposed in the May 18 Republican primary election.[8][9]
