A Mackenzie Village Sewage Utility Fee Question was on the April 3, 2012 ballot in the village of Mackenzie which is in St. Louis County.

This measure sought to implement a sewage service fee which would not exceed $50 a year in order to help pay for repair and maintenance costs of those sewer lines.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall a maximum charge not to exceed fifty dollars be assessed annually on residential property for each lateral sewer service line serving six or less dwelling units on that property and condominiums that have six or less condominium units per building and any condominium responsible for its own individual lateral sewer line to provide funds to pay the cost of certain repairs of those lateral sewer service lines which may be billed quarterly or annually?[3]
