The Maine Barlow Initiative was on the September 13, 1948 ballot in Maine, where it was defeated. It was intended as a measure to regulate collective bargaining.

- Opposed: 126,285
It was described on the ballot as "An Act to Protect the Right to Work and to Prohibit Secondary Boycotts, Sympathetic Strikes and Jurisdictional Strikes."
The Barlow Bill was on the same 1948 ballot as the Tabb Bill, a competing measure which was also defeated. The Barlow and Tabb initiatives were the seventh and eighth initiatives to appear on the Maine ballot subsequent to the time that I&R was approved as a process in Maine in 1908.
