Maine Cost-Sharing Tax Formula Amendment (1978)

The Maine Cost-Sharing Tax Formula Amendment was on the 1978 ballot in Maine, where it was approved. It was the 140th constitutional amendment added to the Maine Constitution.

The purpose of the amendment was to "provide that taxes may be assessed in cost-sharing formula agreeable to communities involved."
