The Maine Funded Mandates Amendment was on the November 1992 ballot in Maine, where it was approved.

It was proposed as a constitutional amendment to the Maine Constitution by the Maine legislature. The amendment establishes that when the state government passes any mandates affecting municipalties, whether or statute, executive order or rule, the state government has to fund the mandate.
