The Maine Petition Signatures Valid for One Year Amendment was on the 1981 ballot in Maine, where it was approved. It was the 144th constitutional amendment added to the Maine Constitution.

The measure changed the laws governing the initiative process in Maine to require that all signatures be dated and validity be limited to one year from the time that the signature was affixed to the petition.
