The Maine Property Tax Exemption Reimbursement Amendment was on the 1978 ballot in Maine, where it was approved. It was the 139th constitutional amendment added to the Maine Constitution.

The purpose of the amendment was to "reimburse municipalities for losses caused by property tax exemptions and credits."
