Maine Question Three is a bond authorization question that appeared on Maine's November 6, 2007 general election ballot. The state legislature voted to place this issue before the state's voters.

It was approved with 129, 379 votes (51%) for the measure and 122,419 votes (49%) against it.

The question before voters was whether to authorize a $43,500,000 bond, the proceeds of which would fund renovations and improvements in the Maine Community College System, the Maine Maritime Academy and the University of Maine System; and replenish the School Revolving Renovation Fund for school repairs and renovations; and support capital improvements for cultural and educational assets such as museums, historical facilities and libraries.

A Taxpayer's Perspective from the National Taxpayers Union

Question 3 would provide $43.5 million in taxpayer-backed bonds to make repairs and renovations at state university facilities.
