From Ballotpedia
April 29, 2010
AUGUSTA, Maine: This week Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap released a draft of the Maine Oxford Casino Initiative, which is scheduled to appear on the November 2, 2010 statewide ballot. The public has 30 days to comment on the draft. Currently, only one other measure has qualified for the November ballot - the Maine Conservation Bonds Issue. A ballot question has not yet been drafted.[1][2]
The proposed casino question reads:
Do you want to allow casino gambling in Maine at a single site in Oxford County, subject to local approval, with part of the profits going to specific state, local and tribal programs?
