Two Mansfield & Shelby City Income Tax Renewal measures were on the May 3, 2011 ballot in the cities of Mansfield and Shelby which are in Richland County.

Both measures were approved

The Mansfield measure sought to renew the income tax which is set at a rate of .5 percent for a further four years in order to help pay for fire and police department operational costs in the city.

The Shelby measure sought to renew the current income tax which is set at a rate of .3 percent for a further five years in order to help pay for police and court facility costs in the city.[1]
