A Marilla Township Operations Levy Renewal measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the township of Marilla, which is in Manistee County.

The question on the ballot:

Shall Marilla Township, Manistee County, Michigan renew the previous voted increases in the tax limitations imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution of one (1) mill ($1.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable value), reduced to 0.9828 mills by the required millage rollbacks, be increased to and renewed at the original voted one (1) mill ($1.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) and levied for four (4) years, 2012 through 2015 inclusive, for general operating purposes of the Township? If approved, it is estimated that the revenue generated by this proposal in the first year the millage is levied would be $16,617.81.[1][2]
