Measure M increased the $40-per-parcel tax by $24 in a 351-square-mile area that included San Geronimo Valley, Point Reyes Station, Stinson Beach, Bolinas, Inverness, Tomales and several other smaller areas.
A 2/3rds supermajority vote was required for approval.

|| Measure M: Paramedic Services Special Tax. To protect lifesaving paramedic services by maintaining rapid response times, providing advanced heart attack treatment, and keeping trained paramedics on fire engine companies, shall a special tax be approved to permit an increase of $24 annually above the current rate on residential units and shall the County of Marin’s appropriation limit be correspondingly increased?
