Powers was a Progressive Party candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Vermont.[1] She ran unopposed in the August 28th primary election[2]. Powers faced Republican incumbent Phillip Scott and Democrat Cassandra Gekas in the general election on November 6, 2012.
