Mark E. Porter was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 76 of the Ohio House of Representatives.

Perter has served as a councilman for the Village of South Russell since 2006.

Porter's professional experience includes working as an attorney. He was admitted to the Ohio State Bar in 2000. Porter is an honorably discharged U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 1984 until 1996.

Porter ran in the 2012 election for Ohio House District 76. Porter, Mary E. O'Toole, and Kristina Port were defeated by Matt Lynch in the Republican primary on March 6.[1][2]
