Miloscia is a substitute teacher for the Federal Way School District and Catholic Archdiocese.He is a former Commissioner for the Lakehaven Utility District, a former Director for Goodwill Industries of Tacoma, and a former Executive Director for the Federal Way Youth and Family Services. Miloscia has served in the United States Air Force as a Captain.
Miloscia earned his BS from Air Force Academy. Miloscia holds a MBA form the University of North Dakota and a MA from Chapman University. He later attended the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.[1]

2012
Miloscia announced on September 15, 2011 that he would be running for State Auditor in 2012.[2] He faced fellow state representative Troy Kelley (D), State Senator Craig Pridemore (D) and James Watkins (R) in the blanket primary on August 7. Miloscia did not advance to the general election.[3][4]

Mark Miloscia ran for re-election to the Washington State House of Representatives District 30a. He ran unopposed in the August 17, 2010 primary. He defeated Republican Shawn Sullivan in the November 2, 2010 general election.[6]
