Mark Schroeder was a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly. He represented District 145 from 2005-2012. In 2012, he resigned after being elected Buffalo City comptroller.[1]

Schroeder earned an AA from Erie Community College and a B.A. from Empire State College. He and his wife, Kate Horan, have three children; Matthew, Michael, and Allison.[2]
