Biography
Wright earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas and his J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law. His professional experience includes working as a teacher of Legal Environment of Business at East Arkansas Community College, as a pro bono attorney/public defender for the First Judicial District of Arkansas, and a partner of Sharpe Beavers Cline and Wright.

Wright ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Arkansas House of Representatives, District 49. Wright ran unopposed in the May 22 Democratic primary and ran unchallenged in the November 6, 2012, general election as well.[1][2][3]
2010
Wright defeated Normal Gilchrest in the May 18 primary. He then defeated Anna Grizzle in the November 2 general election.[4][5]
