Mary Kerwin was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 41 of the Michigan House of Representatives.


Kerwin works as Development and Special Events Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Troy, and as Consultant and Instructor for Michigan Association of School Boards and the University of Michigan-Dearborn Institute for Local Government. She has her B.A. in English from Immaculate Heart College, and Lifetime Teacher Certification from Cal State Los Angeles.[1]

Elections for the office of Michigan House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. Mary Kerwin was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Martin Howrylak was unopposed in the Republican primary. Howrylak defeated Kerwin in the general election.[3][4][5][6]
