Taylor was a public school teacher for 38 years.[1] She has served on Tempe Union High School Governing Board for the last 10 years. Taylor is also a former small business owner of “Lulu’s Moonfish” in Tempe, Arizona.[1]

Taylor ran in the 2012 election for Arizona House of Representatives District 26. She and Raymond Speakman defeated Buckley Merrill and Jason Youn in the August 28, 2012, Republican primary. She was defeated in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
Personal
Taylor and her husband, Jerry, have three daughters, three sons-in-law, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.[4][1]
