The Massachusetts Auto Sale Cancellation Referendum did not make the November 6, 2012 general election ballot in the state of Massachusetts as an indirect initiated state statute. The measure dealt with the right for the cancellation of an auto sale in the state. The measure was introduced by Barbara Taylor and filed with the Massachusetts Attorney General. The petition number for the initiative was 11-01 (dead link).[1]

Path to the ballot

Backers needed to collect 68,911 signatures by the December 7, 2011 petition drive deadline. The measure did not submit signatures by that deadline.
