The Massachusetts Identification of Hazardous Waste Sites Act, also known as Question 4, was on the November 4, 1986 ballot in Massachusetts as an indirect initiated state statute, where it was approved. The measure required the Department of Environmental Quality Engineering to identify hazardous waste sites.[1]
