Elections for the office of Massachusetts House of Representatives were held in Massachusetts on November 2, 2010. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in these elections was May 4, 2010 for partisan and was August 3 for Independents. The primary election day was on September 14, 2010.

Democrats lost 14 seats in the 2010 election, but they still retain over a 3/4 majority in the chamber.

*As of 2/11/11, a Massachusetts judge ruled the latest re-count a tie. A new election was set for May 10, 2011, with a primary to take place on April 12, 2011. According to the Massachusetts Constitution, Alicea will occupy the Sixth Worcester seat until a new election has been declared.^[3]
