The Massachusetts Repeal Salary Increases for Legislators and Other Officers Act, also known as Question 1, was on the November 8, 1988 ballot in Massachusetts as a veto referendum, where it was defeated, thus overturning the legislation. The measure would have increased the salaries of state legislators and other constitutional officers.[1]
