Matt Gaetz (b. May 7, 1982) is a Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives. He was elected to represent the 4th district in a special election held April 13, 2010.[1] Matt's father is Don Gaetz, Florida State senator representing district 4.
Gaetz is an attorney with the firm of Keefe, Anchors, Gordon and Moyle in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Gaetz attended Florida State University from 2000-2003 and graduated with a B.S. in social science with concentrations in Political Science, History and Geography. From 2004-2007 Gaetz studied law and earned his J.D. from the College of William and Mary.
