Lori has a B.A. in public administration from Western Michigan University and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. Additionally, he has extensive continuing education related to law enforcement. Lori's wife Linda is a retired public school teacher. They have two adult sons.
Lori has served as St. Joseph County Sheriff for 20 years and has worked in law enforcement for 29 years. He has also served on the Three Rivers Health Board of Directors for eight years.
