Matt McCoy (b. March 29, 1966) is a Democratic member of the Iowa Senate, representing District 31.
Education
McCoy earned his BA from Briar Cliff College in 1988.
Professional experience
McCoy is Vice President of Community Development for Downtown Development Corporation.
Political experience
McCoy was on the Polk County Conservation Board from 1988 to 1995. He served in the Iowa State House of Representatives from 1992 to 1996. He then joined the Iowa State Senate in 1996. He has served in that position since, representing the 31st district.
