The Matteson village question sought to implement a 911 emergency surcharge set at a rate of $2.75 per month to current phone bills in order to help pay for the 911 emergency phone system in the village.
The Olympia village measure sought to implement a 911 emergency surcharge set at a rate of $1.25 per month to $6.95 per month in order to pay for improvements to the 911 emergency phone system in the village.

| Matteson Question: Shall the Village of Matteson impose a surcharge of up to $2.75 per month per network connection, which surcharge will be added to the monthly bill you receive for telephone or telecommunications charges, for the purpose of improving a 9-1-1- Emergency Telephone System?
Olympia Question: Shall the Village of Olympia Fields increase the surcharge from $1.25 per month per network connection to $6.95 per month per network connection, which surcharge increase will be reflected in the monthly bill you receive for telephone or telecommunication charges, for the purpose of improving a 9-1-1- Emergency Telephone System?
