Three Maui County Charter Amendment measures were on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Maui County.

All three measures were approved

The first amendment sought to establish an affordable housing fund with 2 percent of real property tax revenues going into the fund in order to help those in the low income gap.

The second amendment sought to change the date when financial disclosure papers are filed by candidates, from 15 days after they file paperwork to the same day as they file.

  • NO 4,723 (11.2%)

The third amendment sought to extend the period the Mayor has to veto the budget by ten days as well as extend the date the Council has to pass budget and program ordinances by ten days.[1]
