Maurice Washington (b. July 25, 1956) is a Republican member of the Nevada Senate, representing the Washoe 2 District.
Education
Washington graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Professional experience
Washington is Founder/Pastor for the Center of Hope Christian Fellowship. He is also a businessman.
Political experience
Washington joined the Nevada State Senate in 1995 and has served in that position since. During his time in the senate he has served as Majority Whip and Assistant Majority Whip. He represents the Washoe 2 District. He is also a member of the Washoe County Central Republican Committee.
