The Medford Area Exceed Revenue Limits Referendum was a school bond on the April 7 ballot brought to voters in Taylor County for those in the Medford Area School District by the School Board. The measure sought to exceed state-set revenue limits by $235,000 per year for recurring purposes.
Status
Defeated, with 1,220 "yes" votes and 2,428 "no" votes.[1]
Wording of referendum
BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of the Medford Area Public School District, Taylor and Marathon Counties, Wisconsin that the revenues included in the School District budget for the 2010-2011 school year and thereafter be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $235,000 a year, for recurring purposes.[1]
